"My wife and I live in the Boston area and have spent big bucks from Cape Cod to Pemaquid Point and Ogunquit Maine just so that we could hear the waves slapping on the shore at night. At the Cliff Dweller on Lake Superior we got that for much less. The view was spectacular and the new owners were exceptionally helpful in knowing where to eat and what sights to see. If we return to the area these folks would be the first we'll call! We loved staying here! Russell Hart"

"We loved this inn. We made arrangements to come in late and that was not problem. We came into our room and our deck door was left open so we had fresh night air and crashing waves to listen to all night long. Our room was comfortable and our innkeeper was very accommodating getting us a coffee pot for our room and letting us stay another night. We had breakfast with a great lakeside view. It was a lovely stay. Thank you."

"We had a fantastic time at the Cliff Dweller. Great room overlooking Lake Superior had fantastic views. Breakfast was great every morning and Todd and Michelle were most gracious host and hostess. If you want an excellent view and relaxing atmosphere this is the place to stay. It is close to everything. Oh, and the pillows on the beds were awesome!"

Not all the rooms have been redone yet but they are commited to the full renovation. This should be your go to place while staying in the area. Just don't book our room when we need it!"
