Pursuant to Section 20 C.F.R. 655.45(b), this notice is being posted in order to inform all employees of the availability of an upcoming job opportunity. The terms and conditions of this job opportunity are as follows below:
Cliff Dweller Hospitality, LLC DBA Cliff Dweller on Lake Superior, Tofte, MN, needs 2 temporary (04/01/26 – 10/31/26) and full-time employees to work as a Temporary Resort Workers. Attend front desk, receive and transmit email and phone messages; maintain records of occupied rooms; and assist with check-ins and check-outs and accommodate reasonable guest requests. Clean corridors, lobbies, and stairways, and guest rooms. Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. Clean toilets, wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers. Wipe down glass surfaces. Make up beds and change linens as required. Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures. Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand. Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and draperies. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Dust and polish furniture and fittings. Wash windows as scheduled. Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry. Sort, fold, and put away clean laundry. Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy. Laundry to be washed includes: Bedding such as sheets, pillowcases, comforters, and blankets; Towels including washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, and bath mats; Rags including cleaning rags, microfiber cloths. Operate mechanized cleaning equipment. Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition. Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements. Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, etc. Inspect and turn mattresses as scheduled. Check all appliances in rooms are in working order. Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms. Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms. Follow all company safety and security procedures. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards, observe and report damage of lodge property. Respond to customer requests; May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-2012, Maids and Housekeeping Cleaners / 43-4081.00 Hotel, Motel, and Resort Desk Clerks / 51-6011.00, Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Workers. No education or experience requirements. Must have physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend, lift, push and pull required load up to 30 pounds. OJT provided. $16.73p/h, overtime wage rate of $25.10, overtime may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 7am-3pm or 12pm-8pm, workdays vary Sun-Sat. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers’ paychecks that are required by law. The employer will provide optional housing accommodations from a third-party if relocating for the position and not within reasonable transport to jobsite. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted approximately $10 day. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $16.28 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $68.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
