Rooms with two double beds provide comfortable and cozy accommodations. All of our rooms with two double beds offer incredible views of the lake and have balconies set up with chairs. Some rooms have a treehouse feel, with impressive wintergreen trees offering a foreground to the expansive lake view.
Rooms with a king bed are spacious and offer sweeping views of the lake. Comfortable beds are sure to provide a peaceful and restful environment, so that you can hit the trails and slopes well rested and recharged.
We offer one accessible room with a king bed. The room is very spacious and offers ample space for guests with limited mobility. The bathroom offers grab bars and a walk in shower.

Beautiful property located right on the lakefront. Comfortable, clean, rustic-themed rooms have gorgeous views of the lake and a wonderful deck on which to enjoy them. They offer a lovely start-your-day-off-on-the-right-note coffee/tea/hot chocolate and delicious pastry mini breakfast in a sunroom overlooking the lake. Angelia, at the front desk and everywhere, is professional, friendly, and always available to make sure your stay is perfect.

Great front desk customer service, very clean rooms. The view from my room was amazing! Close to Lutsen! I will stay here again when in the area.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Had our own deck, even with it being a bit chilly, sat out on it during the afternoon and enjoyed the lake being right there. Chatted with the main staff member who was wonderful and it was obvious she took great pride in how things are run at the hotel. Would definitely stay again when in the area. So conveniently located to Lutsen and all the other beautiful attractions along the shore.

Staff was super friendly and helpful to find local hiking destinations and amenities. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and the view cannot be beat! I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels on the north shore, you won’t find a better one than this!

Great hosts running the hotel. Very comfortable accommodations with rooms overlooking Lake Superior from their balcony. The fresh cool breeze off the lake at night comes wafting through the screen making for a beautiful sleep. Our group stayed for a few days - hiking, kayaking and biking in the area. There are some good places to eat in the area as well.

Family owned and operated motel. They are committed to providing clean rooms and comfort. Ask the front desk for a coffee maker if you need one in your room. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the lake.

Our room was impeccably clean and had a wonderful view of Lake Superior. There is a microwave and mini-fridge in the room. We enjoyed leaving the patio doors open to hear the waves on the rocks, but when closed, they provided impressive sound proofing from a thunderstorm. Yes, the moon (and lightning storm!) views over the lake are spectacular.
